This is where talents find their purpose.

Our passion for excellence in service, design, food and drink, and health brings people together at the Breidenbacher Hof – people from our city as well as from all over the world. We combine the best of the past and present, building on our long-standing tradition while remaining firmly rooted in the present. We see ourselves as a guide to excellence – outstanding, but never unapproachable. We take the time to fulfil our guests' wishes and ensure their well-being. We are personal assistants, companions, listeners, confidants and, from time to time, even psychologists. We take care of our guests' expressed and sometimes unspoken wishes before, during and after their stay. We are passionate hosts by conviction. We are the heart and soul of our company.

Apprenticeship 2.0

All about apprenticeship programme

At Breidenbacher Hof, excellence does not begin with service – it begins with the people who passionately create it. As a traditional luxury hotel with an eye for the future, we are committed to not only training young talent, but also encouraging, inspiring and accompanying them on their personal journey.

For us, apprenticeship is not about learning routines, but about developing an attitude: appreciation, care and responsibility – towards guests, colleagues and oneself. In an environment based on trust, openness and respect, there is room for genuine growth – both professionally and personally.

Whether in service, in the kitchen, in housekeeping or in events, our trainees experience what it means to be part of a hotel with character. A hotel that builds on living tradition, welcomes innovation and where hospitality is not a job, but a calling.

Training partner

Our partnerships are an integral part of our training concept – practical, inspiring and value-oriented. Because only those who understand where quality begins can pass it on with conviction. This creates a network of learning that extends far beyond the hotel corridors – and enables young talents to start their careers in the luxury hotel industry with confidence and knowledge.

Cross-Trainings

In partnership with Selektion Deutscher Luxushotels, we are expanding our training programme and promoting further education for our trainees and young employees. The exchange programme enables our Breidenbachers employees to get to know other luxury hotels, gain new impressions and gain gastronomic experience outside Düsseldorf.

Farm days

How can you convey the sheer endless passion, tireless diligence, unconditional conviction, knowledge and love for the product that farmers have to the people who work with the products? This can only be done by the people who deal with it every day – the farmers! Breidenbacher Hof is launching a new, contemporary and extraordinary training model in which apprentices visit farmers' farms as an integral part of their three-year culinary training programme, actively working there and learning what it means to live and breathe a product and accompany it from the very beginning. Our aim is to start training at the roots of agricultural production, giving young talents the opportunity to follow the entire production chain from the very beginning and to help shape it themselves through active participation.

Selektion Deutscher Luxushotels

A philosophy of modern luxury

What appears to be an alliance of six German and one Austrian luxury hotel is in fact a curated community of visionary hosts – united by the pursuit of a new definition of luxury: quiet, personal, thoughtful.

These hotels create spaces where exclusivity impresses discreetly – supported by elegance that stems from lived tradition, bold innovation and genuine sensitivity. Here, luxury is not a standard, but a promise – individual, tailor-made, meaningful.

At the same time, the alliance offers unique career opportunities: cross-training, mentorships and tailor-made development paths open up perspectives for talented individuals across national borders – in an environment that promotes excellence and allows personalities to flourish.

Rooted in values such as family, authenticity and sustainability, the focus here is not only on the guest, but also on the people in the team. A quiet luxury – tangible, meaningful, groundbreaking.

Fair Job Hotels

Fair Job Hotels stand for a hotel industry that not only meets the highest standards, but also gives them a new depth – through an uncompromising commitment to fairness, integrity and excellence.

They are not only stylish retreats for travellers with a taste for the extraordinary, but also inspiring living spaces for people with passion. Flexible working models, transparent remuneration and targeted further development are not just promises here – they are a reality.

In an environment characterised by appreciation, belonging and contemporary leadership, careers are not managed, but shaped. Personal, individual, on equal terms.

This is how hospitality becomes what it should always be: a vocation with a future – human, meaningful, stylish.
