Looking for things to see in Düsseldorf on your next holiday? A hearty dish with a poetic name, Himmel und Ähd is made from black pudding, onions, mashed potatoes and apple sauce. Christian Benninghoven, who manages the farm, grows special Wellant apples (‘the sky’) and Madeira potatoes (‘the earth’) to create a uniquely sustainable interpretation of the dish.
Enjoy a tour of the farm before joining our chef, Philipp Ferber, in the Molteni Show Kitchen for a private cooking class – and wash down your own version of Heaven and Earth with a glass (or two) of delicious German wine.
